2nd and 3rd Shift Yard Porter

Available Shifts

• Second shift: Monday-Friday, 2:45 p.m.-10:45 p.m.
• Third shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:45 p.m.-6:45 a.m.
• Mandatory overtime is required from time to time

Support daily vehicle yard operations by receiving incoming vehicles, organizing parking and staging areas, and preparing units for their next destination. This position helps maintain accurate vehicle identification and an orderly, safe outdoor work area.

• Receive vehicles arriving at the facility and apply the appropriate identification labels.
• Position vehicles in designated areas based on routing instructions and destination.
• Prepare and coordinate vehicle shipments to outside repair locations.
• Identify units delivered to the wrong location, mark them for review, and stage them according to established procedures.
• Monitor vehicle status and help keep yard activity organized as priorities change.
• Maintain clear, orderly yard areas and follow all site safety requirements and vehicle operating rules.
• Assist with additional yard responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving history, including no accidents within the past six months.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• The ability to stay organized and work effectively in a busy environment.
• A cooperative approach and the ability to work well with other team members.
• Willingness to work outdoors throughout the year in changing weather conditions.
