The Lawrence A. Dowdy Multicultural Center promotes holistic student success and development at West Chester University by implementing collaborative co-curricular experiences that promote multicultural awareness, create a sense of belonging, affirm cultural identity, and empower students to challenge systems of oppression. Reporting to the Director of the Lawrence A. Dowdy Multicultural Center, the Associate Director assists with developing, implementing and facilitating programs, services and resources to promote success for multicultural students attending West Chester University.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills; team-oriented: strong organizational skills; the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and high-volume environment; technology proficiency; and the ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally and interact dynamically with a variety of constituents. They will be a clear and engaging communicator who takes initiative, approaches challenges thoughtfully and contributes to continuous process improvement.

Salary and benefits are dictated by the State College and University Professional Association (SCUPA) Collective Bargaining Agreement.
