Primary Purpose:
Provide district-level leadership, coordination, professional learning, coaching, and program support for early learning initiatives across Weatherford ISD. The position will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the district's Pre-K program and serve as a district cohort leader and coordinator for the Texas Reading and Mathematics Academies.
The specialist will collaborate with Curriculum & Instruction, campus administrators, teachers, and other departments to align early learning, literacy, mathematics, curriculum, instruction, and professional learning. The position will coordinate academy cohorts, including facilitation, participant support, coaching, progress monitoring, and compliance, while supporting educators in applying academy learning to classroom practice and strengthening the PK-3 instructional system.
