We are currently looking for a Manager of Field Application Scientists to be based in the Pacific time zone, ideally in San Francisco or San Diego. This manager will use their management skills and strong technical background in immunoassays to build, train, and manage an applications team within the Western territory. They will be technically strong in ELISA, immunology, protein biochemistry, and biomarkers, to name a few skills. Their team will assist in installations, troubleshooting, and sales support to name a few responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in the sciences
- Hands-on experience in immunoassays, ELISA, biomarkers, molecular biology, etc.
- 2+ years’ FAS management experience – okay with being a player/coach
- Experienced in using metrics to hold their team accountable
- Strong presentation skills and must be an excellent communicator
- No issues with overnight travel and riding with the FAS team
- Ability for some overnight travel
- Based in the Pacific time zone, San Francisco is ideal
