Job Objective:
The Settlements Accounting Manager serves as the critical liaison between Revenue Accounting and Marketing, ensuring the accurate, timely, and complete settlement of production revenues and related financial activities. This role leads a team of analysts responsible for daily and monthly settlement processes, with a strong focus on minimizing revenue leakage, validating volumes and pricing, and maintaining alignment across commercial and accounting functions.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with operational awareness of marketing contracts, midstream processes, and production data flows.

Qualifications:
Minimum of six (6) years of relevant oil and gas accounting experience, with a focus on settlements, revenue, or marketing accounting
Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
Strong understanding of:
Oil & gas marketing contracts and settlement processes
Production accounting and midstream allocation concepts
Revenue recognition and financial controls
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage complex datasets involving volumes, pricing, and contractual terms
Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and commercial teams
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and completeness
Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement controls
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (experience with energy-specific systems preferred)
