• Conduct recruitment at UCAN Head Start family outreach events. • Lead onboarding, training and support of parent volunteers. • Explore new professional development opportunities for parent volunteers. • Assist in classrooms to better understand how to support parent volunteers. • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing early childhood education programs. • Maintain meticulous records and documentation of client intake interactions and eligibility determinations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. • Maintain knowledge of Head Start rules, regulations, and best practices. • Participate actively in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to outreach and eligibility navigation. • Solicit parental feedback to help inform volunteer program. • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting collaboration, respect, and empathy.
