What You'll Bring Qualifications and Required Certifications High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of sport specific fundamentals, strategies, and player development. Ability to effectively supervise and motivate high school student-athletes. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and community members. CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain prior to season start). Concussion Awareness Training. Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training. Any additional district, league, or state-required coaching certifications and clearances
Who You Are: Desired Characteristics: Develop, communicate, implement, promote, and monitor the highest expectations and standards to improve the overall athletic and academic experience of all Stella High students. Develop, communicate, implement, and monitor the highest expectations and standards to improve the safety of all players and staff members through sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for self and others. Proactively communicate with all stakeholders. These include the team but also extend to their families, teachers, staff, the administrative team, SST, and the overall student body.
