Description of the Position:

The primary responsibility of Bottle Shop staff is to provide excellent customer service in the bottle shop to maintain a pleasant atmosphere for our customers while they taste and shop. Duties include but are not limited to greeting customers, assisting them with any questions, suggesting merchandise; pouring and serving beer, wine and spirits; making coffee and espresso drinks, serving food, operating the POS, accurate cash handling, cleaning, stocking, processing freight, opening and closing duties as they are assigned; dishwashing, general cleaning, working outside on a seasonal basis and most importantly maintaining and providing excellent customer relations with all patrons. The Bottle Shop Staff may also be asked to work outside in merchandise tents, complete physical inventory and set up merchandise presentations in the store. Bottle Shop employees will be trained on all McMenamin products including wine, liquor, beer and coffee and should be able to make recommendations and suggestions to customers shopping with us. This position requires the ability to effectively multi-task in an occasionally fast paced and deadline orientated environment. Bottle Shop Staff must have the ability to work well independently and also as a member of a team.

Qualified applicants

• Obtain and maintain current food handlers and OLCC/WA liquor license
• 21+ years
• Previous customer service or retail experience is required
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
