What Youll Do- Provide specialized respiratory therapy to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician supervision
- Perform patient assessments and implement respiratory care plans
- Manage ventilators, airway devices, and oxygen therapy including BiPAP and CPAP
- Assist with emergency responses (Code Blue & White) and airway management procedures
- Conduct pulmonary function testing, blood gas analysis, and EKG interpretation
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient progress
- Support equipment maintenance, stocking, and infection control protocols
- Participate in hospital surveys and quality assurance activities
- Potentially serve as shift or team leader and perform advanced practice functions such as.waveform analysis, nocturnal SpO2 evaluation, and transport duties
What You Need- Active RRT or RCP license in Texas
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (AHA)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in ventilator management, airway support, and patient assessment
