What Youll Do- Manage pulmonary care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Assist with airway management, including suctioning and device placement
- Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
- Administer aerosolized medications and therapeutic gases
- Perform patient assessments and respiratory procedures
- Analyze blood gases, EKGs, and chest x-rays
- Respond to emergency situations (Code Blue/White)
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Participate in hospital surveys and team activities
- Potentially serve as shift leader or team lead
- Conduct specialized procedures such as pulmonary function testing and nocturnal SpO2 evaluation
What You Need- Valid RT or RCP license in Texas
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (AHA)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in airway management and patient assessment
