What Youll Do- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures within your scope of practice
- Provide support to other imaging technologists as needed to keep patient flow moving smoothly
- Ensure exams are scanned and correctly stored in PACS
- Participate in QA and support ongoing safety and technical improvements
- Assist with troubleshooting by addressing basic maintenance, image processing issues, and image archiving system concerns
- Adapt patient assessment and imaging approach to meet the needs of pediatric patients
- Follow PACS downtime procedures and escalate issues appropriately
What You NeedRequired- CT modality certification:CT by ARRT or NMTCB
- State licensure (Texas):MRT by TMB
- BLS:AHA only
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program (or an accepted/approved equivalent)
- Experience:Basic computer experience required
Preferred- 1 year of CT experience in a hospital/clinical setting
- Experience with imaging/PACS workflows such as Epic, Sectra, and CT/x-ray technologies (e.g., Canon CT, Siemens x-ray equipment)
