What Youll Do- Provide expert labor and delivery nursing care independently, in line with standards and protocols
- Assess and monitor patients' physical, emotional, and social needs
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient histories, procedures, and care plans accurately
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
- Meet competency expectations, including participation in orientation and ongoing training
What You NeedRequired:- Current RN license in Texas or a valid compact license
- NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications (AHA only)
- At least 1 year of labor and delivery nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
Preferred:- Perinatal RN residency or recent experience in a similar setting
- Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN Intermediate FHM
