What Youll Do:
- Provide routine and complex nursing care for labor and delivery patients
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Perform patient assessments including history, symptoms, and care documentation
- Educate patients and families about pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with standards
- Respond to emergent situations and provide contingency management in a fast-paced environment
What You Need:
Required:- Valid RN license in Texas or a compact state
- Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
- Certification from AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery or related nursing experience
Preferred:- Recent experience in a perinatal or labor and delivery setting
- Completion of Perinatal RN Residency or similar program
