What Youll Do
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the sterile environment for a variety of surgical procedures, including CVOR, Neurosurgery, Urology, ENT, and Vascular surgeries
- Prepare patient skin and position patients according to surgical needs
- Assist surgical teams by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies efficiently
- Maintain aseptic techniques throughout procedures
- Monitor the surgical environment, ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met
- Support pre-operative and intraoperative patient care under the supervision of a professional nurse
- Ensure proper handling and care of biological specimens
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality surgical assistance
What You Need
Required
- Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR and Neurosurgery experience
- Ability to scrub in multiple specialty areas including Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Robotics, etc.
Preferred
- Experience in general, ortho, plastics, urology, ENT, and vascular surgeries
