POSITION TITLE: 2027 Strategic Value Investment Management Intern

DEPARTMENT: Investment Management

• Federated Hermes Summer Internship Program gives students real hands-on experience, professional skill-building, and direct access to talented leaders across the firm. Youll gain valuable insight into the asset management industry, build your network, and take part in engaging events throughout the summer designed to foster collaboration, connect you with the firm and your fellow interns.

Purpose of the Internship:

As an Investment Management Intern, you will receive a broad and in-depth understanding of the investment process through assisting portfolio managers and analysts in completing projects that support the investment decision making process.

Major Duties:

• Perform fundamental company, industry, market, and competitive analysis using financial modeling, valuation techniques, and DCF methodologies.
• Participate in daily research meetings and bi-monthly analyst updates, gain exposure to the investment research process while preparing reports and presentations.
• Present research findings, investment recommendations, and key takeaways to the Global Equity Research Team at the conclusion of the internship.

Hours/Location:

• 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Federated Hermes Tower - Pittsburgh, PA 15222
• Hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office / 1 day remote)

• Solid oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, a passion for learning, and a proactive approach to financial research and critical thinking.

Position Specifications:

• Pursuing a degree with a concentration in finance, business, accounting or related major preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Products including Word and Excel required; PowerPoint preferred
• Knowledge of investment industry and mutual fund terminology preferred
• COMMENCEMENT DATE: 10/13/2026
