Control Management(CM)is a financial industry function that collaborates with and influences front-line business groups and functions through assessment and mitigation of operational risk across Wells Fargo. Program participantshave the opportunity towork within Control Management to support one of the 15 Wells Fargo business divisions. Participants inprogramselect rotation to engage in a variety of experiences to build a personal career path.
Regulatory and Policy Affairs(RAPA)is responsible forWells Fargo Regulatory Relations, the Enterprise Policy Office, Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting Governance, and the Office of Consumer Practices. The team focuses on ensuring an integrated andholistic approachto Wells Fargo’s regulatory, policy and governance activities and ensuring communication and coordinationof engagementsacross multiple stakeholders.

The experience includes relationship building, relevant work assignments, coaching, performance feedback sessions,andinformative learning sessions with key leaders.
It is designed to provide undergraduate students withanexperientialoverview oftheapplicableteamunder business risk control and regulatory oversightfunctions and how theysupport mitigatingriskthrough data analytics, reporting, collaboration, consulting, or creating efficiencies. The program incorporates real-world scenarios and experiences to help prepare you for arewardingcareer at Wells Fargo.#earlycareers

In this role, you will:
Work in various Microsoft products tocreate communication,gather data andstorytellon outcomes, andorganize priorities.
Review various assignments to become familiar with policies and procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables
Receive direction from managers in a matrixed environment and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area
Collaborate and consult with peers,colleaguesand managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Some of the open positions wouldbenefitfrom candidates with one or more of the following professional skills or certifications:
Data analytics, including experience in SQL,PowerBI, JIRA, SharePoint, and/or Tableau
Experience in Agilemethodology
SIE Certifications
CAMS (Certified anti-money laundering specialist)
CRCM (Certified regulatory compliance manager)
CAFP (Certified AML and Fraud professional)
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of work experience, or equivalentdemonstratedthrough one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degreein the following majors:Business Administration, Accounting, Analytics & Data, Business Intelligence, Communication, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering,Government, Management and Risk Management, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Policy & Management, Pre-law, Statistics, Technology, or related businessfieldwithan expected graduationofDecember 2026– June 2027
Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities through one or more of the following: volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), non-profit involvement
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Familiarity with AI‑powered productivity tools (such as chat‑based assistants and built‑in features like Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday tasks including research, organizing information, and creating presentations with a strong interest in learning and using these tools responsibly.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business needs by applying critical thinking, data analysis, and analytical insights to solve problems, generate actionable recommendations, and support innovative, data-driven operational improvements.
Demonstrated ability to execute with a bias for action by applying strong project management, business reporting, and solutions delivery skills to drive operational excellence, support change management, and demonstrate enterprise thinking in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats, build strong working relationships across teams, foster an inclusive work environment, and actively seek and apply feedback to support collaboration and successful program outcomes.
Business acumen and business analysis skills, with a strong service orientation and the ability to identify opportunities that drive client and business impact.
Ability to act with integrity, identify and manage operational risks, and apply risk management and regulatory compliance principles to support well-controlled business operations.
Successful completion of 2026 Business Risk Control and Regulatory Oversight Summer intern program.
