Propel Schools is seeking an Head Varsity Track Coach for the 26-27 season starting this spring:
Propel Andrew Street High School
Propel Braddock Hills High School
Propel Montour High School
Successful candidates will have:
Prior Varsity or Junior Varsity coaching experience
Preferred candidates will have student-athlete experience on the high school and/or intercollegiate level, prior high school coaching experience, & USATF certification
Responsibility for assembling coaching staff
Must possess knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
Responsibility for supporting the Varsity program with the assistant coach, athletic director and other coaching staff
Experience implementing off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations.
Willingness and ability to attend all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings and mandatory coaching certification/trainings in compliance with PIAA regulations.
High level of personal organization and planning
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development

This position includes a seasonal stipend of $3,000. Please note that the stipend will be prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.
