Greendale School District is hiring substitute food service servers to support our food service program. Responsibilities include preparing and serving food to students and kitchen cleanup, including dishes after the lunch service. Substitute employees are available on an as-needed, on-call basis. This is a school year position to fill in for absences when needed. When regular positions become available, we often hire from our substitute pool of candidates, so if you are interested in a future regular position with Greendale Schools, this is a great entry point. You will receive training and experience at all five of the schools in the district.
Qualified candidates will have experience working in the Food Service Industry, ability to perform physical demands of the position, and a desire to work with school aged children. The selected candidate must be eligible to obtain Wisconsin ServSafe certification within the first 6 months of employment.
