This application for SUBSTITUTE Instructional Assistant - TCOE is for the following programs/sites only: *Severely Handicapped Classrooms throughout Tulare County Schools The following are required to apply: Copy of high school diploma or equivalent And ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: • Copy of degree or transcripts demonstrating completion of a AA degree or higher • Transcripts demonstrating completion of 48 units at an accredited college/university • Proof of passage of an Instructional Aide Assessment. Instructional Assistant of the Severely Handicapped serves students with the most severe handicapping conditions. Some students need total care while others function somewhat independently. All services are provided pursuant to an individual educational plan developed for the children.
