Requirements / Qualifications

CalPERS retirees cannot be in an on-call substitute pool. Violations could include repayment of your retirement benefits to PERS (reference CalPERS Publication 33 - Employment After Retirement). To comply with PERS, we are not able have retirees as active substitutes. Substitutes applications will be reviewed in the order they are received and processed as needed. Applying does not guarantee placement on the sub list or selection to participate in the hiring process. All communication on your applicant status will be done via email only. Please check your inbox for updates and please expect processing times to be flexible dependent on our District''s sub needs. If selected applicants will be required to provide Physical and TB clearance.
