Position: Special Education Coordinator / Coach
Location: Various locations across the district
Terms of Employment: Full time, 10 month position - temporary if hired after contractual start date for teachers
Reports to: Building Principal

Description:
The Special Education Coordinator/Special Education Coach is a dual-role position responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of special education services and enhancing instructional practices for students with disabilities. The role involves overseeing compliance with legal mandates, supporting the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing coaching and professional development to special education and general education staff as well as facilitates collaboration among staff, families, and external partners. . This position plays a critical role in building capacity, improving student outcomes, and fostering inclusive education environments.
