2024-2025 Elementary Teacher

Virginia Chance School is seeking Elementary school teachers who reflect the Mission & Vision of the School. Prospective teachers should be team-oriented; educators will work closely with their credentialed co-teacher, teaching team, and the Director of Elementary School. Eligible candidates should be able to incorporate a developmentally appropriate curriculum that addresses the whole child, adheres to progressive education tenets, and Chance's nature-based approach to education daily. In addition, candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication and positive interpersonal skills in addition to being well-organized and timely.

This position is for the 2024-2025 school year (August 2024-May 2025).

Reports to: Director of Elementary School

Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm
