2 years coding and abstracting experience - Level 1 trauma hospital

• Remote position for candidate who resides in Maryland.
• Minimum 2 years experience ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT 4
• Must have inpatient auditing experience
• 2 years experience if in a trauma hospital
• or
• 4 years experience with coding inpatient hospital medical records
• or
• 2-3 years ambulatory coding experience
• Must have one of the following certifications:
• CCS
• RHIT
• RHIA
• CIC

Serves in an advisory role and educator to Coding Specialists.

Provides training to ne employees

AA or BS degree in lieu of experience
