Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Shop Assistant to support daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attendance, self-discipline, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn and succeed. This position offers opportunities for both experienced candidates and entry-level individuals willing to be trained.
Hours: 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $16.00
Key Responsibilities
- Operate saws and assist with material cutting processes
- Wash and clean manufactured parts
- Organize materials, tools, and work areas
- Perform general housekeeping and shop cleaning duties
- Assist with building and facility maintenance
- Support production and shop operations as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
