    1st Shift MIG/TIG Welder & Fitter | Weekly Pay | Excellent Benefits Upon Hire


    Armada Staffing Group is hiring an experienced MIG Welder, TIG Welder, and Welder/Fitter for a well-established, locally owned manufacturing company in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a full-time, first-shift fabrication opportunity for skilled professionals with experience in steel fabrication, blueprint reading, fitting, and welding.

    Pay: Starting at $24.00+/hour (Based on Experience)

    1st Shift Schedule

    • Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
    • Friday: 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM
    • Overtime available based on production needs

    MIG/TIG Welder & Fitter Responsibilities

    • Perform high-quality MIG welding and TIG welding on steel components and fabricated assemblies.
    • Fit, align, and assemble metal parts according to blueprints and engineering drawings.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, shop drawings, and fabrication prints.
    • Set up and adjust welding equipment for various fabrication projects.
    • Inspect finished welds to ensure quality standards are met.
    • Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding.
    • Assist with general metal fabrication and shop duties as needed.
    • Follow OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean work area.




    Qualifications

    • Previous experience as a MIG Welder, TIG Welder, Welder/Fitter, Fabricator, or Structural Welder required.
    • Experience with steel fabrication and blueprint reading required.
    • Strong fitting, measuring, and layout skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.
    • Must pass drug screen.
    • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
