Pay: $28-$30 per hour
Location: Mentor, OH
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

An established manufacturer is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder with hands-on Cobot programming experience. This is a skilled position requiring previous experience in both welding and Cobot programming. It is not an entry-level welding or programming opportunity.
Required Experience
Applicants must have:
- At least 3 years of experience working with and programming Cooper Cobots
- At least 5 years of MIG and TIG welding experience
- Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols
- Experience using measuring and inspection tools, including tape measures and calipers
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- Dependable attendance and reliable work habits
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Candidates without Cobot programming experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Program and operate collaborative welding robots
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Fabricate metal components according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Set up welding equipment, fixtures, and materials
- Work with Engineering to develop welding fixtures
- Operate an angle grinder to finish and smooth welds
- Operate an automatic saw
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Physical Requirements
- Ability to handle and move components weighing up to 50 pounds
