The ideal candidate will be able to follow pick tickets, use an RF scanner, locate products throughout the warehouse, and ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick and select products according to customer orders, pick tickets, and warehouse instructions.
- Use an RF scanner or other inventory tracking system to locate products and verify quantities.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as manual or electric pallet jacks, as authorized.
- Verify product numbers, descriptions, quantities, and labels to ensure order accuracy.
- Package, label, and prepare orders for shipping or staging.
- Move completed orders to designated staging areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies or damaged products.
- Follow warehouse procedures and meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous warehouse or order-picking experience preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners and pick tickets is a plus.
- Ability to read labels, verify product information, and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Forklift or powered industrial truck experience is a plus, if required for the assignment.
