1st Shift Test Operator

Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a diligent 1st Shift Test Operator to join a leading semiconductor manufacturing company in Leominster, MA. This role is a long-term temporary position with the potential for temp-to-hire. The position offers the opportunity to work with advanced testing equipment and sensitive electronic components in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize small hand tools and microscopes for precision work.
• Handle sensitive electronic components with care.
• Load tiny parts into machines and follow detailed work instructions.
• Enter data accurately for test results and maintain records.
• Operate within an ESD (Electric Static Discharge) environment.
• Set up and operate various automatic testing equipment to ensure products meet specifications, ranging from simple to complex semiconductor/hybrid products.
• Notify group leaders or appropriate personnel of any defective products.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening (marijuana).
• At least 1 year of work experience is preferred.
• Comfortable wearing lab gear in the work environment.
• Prior experience in electronics manufacturing is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Basic understanding of electronics is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, technical operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one settings to other employees within the organization.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Work Hours:

Monday through Friday, 1st Shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Compensation:

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour.
