Telehandler Operator
Armada Staffing Group is currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Telehandler Operator to join our team in Denton, TX.We are looking for an experienced individual who can safely operate a telehandler to move, lift, and position materials throughout the job site. The ideal candidate has strong equipment operating skills, follows safety procedures, and takes pride in maintaining a productive and organized work environment.The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to excellent attendance and teamwork.
Pay Rate: $20.00/HR
Shift/Hours: Monday - Thursday6AM -  4:30PM

Requirements:

• Previous telehandler operating experience required
• Telehandler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Experience operating heavy equipment in construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments
• Ability to safely lift, move, and position materials using a telehandler
• Ability to read and follow load charts, operating instructions, and safety procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Strong awareness of surroundings and commitment to safe equipment operation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and dependable work history
• Must pass required background check, drug screening, and any applicable assessments

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate telehandlers to lift, transport, and position materials
• Perform daily equipment inspections before operating machinery
• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the job site
• Properly position materials at designated locations
• Use forks and other approved attachments as required
• Follow load charts and ensure materials are within the equipment's rated capacity
• Maintain safe operating distances from employees, structures, vehicles, and other equipment
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers regarding material movement and equipment operations
• Report equipment damage, safety concerns, or maintenance issues immediately
• Assist with general material handling and labor duties as needed
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements
• Work with supervisors and team members to meet daily production and material handling goals
