Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday to Friday - OT may be required
Essential Functions
Machines:
· Prepare and maintain sewing machines by changing needles and thread, oiling, replacing bobbins, and securing attachments.
· Operate industrial sewing machines to join materials such as polyester, cotton, and lyocell.
· Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment issues to supervisors.
· Must demonstrate full understanding of Operator and Machinist responsibilities, including machine setup, monitoring, and minor repairs.
Process:
· Follow established production procedures and schedules.
· Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
· Participate in process improvement initiatives and suggest ideas for efficiency.
Materials:
· Guide materials under the machine needle to ensure proper stitching.
· Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality meets specifications.
· Escalate concerns related to material or product quality.
Quality:
· Take ownership of product quality throughout the sewing process.
· Meet or exceed monthly productivity goals.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
Required Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial sewing environment.
· Must have prior knowledge and experience in Production Associate 1 and 2 duties.
· Ability to lift 30 lbs. or more without assistance.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to follow instructions consistently and work independently.
· Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, or stand for extended periods.
· Proficient in reading and speaking English.
· Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing products, equipment, and processes.
