1st shift SAW OPERATOR

DAILY JOB FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to the following: Set up and operate Haas 510 and production Saws. Supports Machine shop by running both the Haas 510 and Production saw for optimal output and results.

We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and qualified HAAS 510 + Production Saw Operator with a highly-trained eye for quality to join our Gahanna, Ohio team!

HAAS 510 + Production Saw Operator - Machine Shop
1 ^st SHIFT Hours: Mon – Friday 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: Based on experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:

HAAS 510 + Production Saw Operator:

• Supports Machine shop by running both the Haas 510 and Production saw for optimal output and results.
• OTJ / cross-training provided
• Will train and work in tandem with experienced and seasoned associates already on staff.

DAILY JOB FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to the following:

• Set up and operate Haas 510 and production Saws.
• Load Materials / Unload product
• Retrieve program
• Quality check with mics/calipers + inspection reporting
• Lifting
• Stacking
• Troubleshooting and quick resolution/turnaround

MUST POSSESS - Required Skills sets:

• Milling experience + Production Saw work; 2-3 years
• Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret prints.
• Change Fixtures, Part Programs, Setups, Tools,
• Knowledge of tool heights.
• Mechanically inclined and able to use a variety of power and hand tools.
• Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull, and push during the course of an 8-hour shift.
• Attention to detail and fine tactical ability.
• Ability to follow and retain instructions.
• Organizational skills.
• Pallet jack and/or forklift experience is helpful.
• Reliable/dependable attendance record.
• Ability to take direction; working as a part of a team as well as independently.
• Computer experience (Word/Excel, business software system).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with regularity.
