    Production Supervisor
    Location: Kernersville, NC Shift: 1st Shift

    Job Summary:
    This role will report to the Plant Manager and be responsible for supervising multiple production lines, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. The Production Supervisor will lead a team that includes Line Leads, Production Operators, and Sewers, with each line consisting of approximately 15 associates.

    Key Responsibilities:
    · Oversee multiple production lines, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and efficiency targets are met.
    · Supervise and support Line Leads, who manage daily activities on individual production lines.
    · Lead, train, and mentor a team of Production Operators and Sewers (straight-line overlock machines) to maximize performance and ensure a smooth workflow.
    · Monitor equipment, processes, and staffing levels, making real-time adjustments as needed to optimize production.
    · Collaborate with the Plant Manager and other departments, including Maintenance and Quality Control, to ensure smooth operations.
    · Maintain and enforce safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations to create a safe work environment.
    · Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
    · Assist in onboarding and training new team members to ensure a skilled and efficient workforce.
    · Maintain accurate production reports and performance metrics.

    Qualifications & Skills:
    · Experience: 3+ years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment (textiles, soft goods, or similar industries preferred).
    · Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced production setting.
    · Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with sewing operations, production workflows, and manufacturing equipment.
    · Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
    · Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    · Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations, or related field a plus.
    · Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
