Job Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.
- Perform repetitive machine and process operations while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.
- Follow oral and written instructions, work procedures, safety requirements, and production guidelines.
- Make basic adjustments to processes or machinery as directed.
- Record and report daily production numbers accurately.
- Operate a variety of industrial manufacturing equipment, including:
- Block Press Manufacturing Equipment
- Block Stacking Equipment
- Packers
- Palletizers
- Forklifts
- Manual Bag Lifting Equipment
- Other production and material-handling equipment
- Inspect work and processes to identify issues or abnormalities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through good housekeeping practices.
- Accurately understand, record, and communicate detailed production information.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Follow all company safety policies and industrial workplace procedures.
- Adapt to changing production requirements and assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, industrial operations, material handling, or warehouse environments is preferred.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Excellent punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in individual and team settings.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
- Ability to understand and comply with workplace safety guidelines.
- Steel-toe or safety-toe shoes required.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
