Description
Hiring Production Associate
Pay: $21.00 per hour, starting rate (weekly pay)
Hours: 1st shift 7am-330pm M-F (2 break times paid and lunch break)
Location: Waukegan, IL
Description:
+ Train and work in four primary areas: Assembly, Lapping, Conveyance, and Shipping/Receiving.
+ Perform mechanical assembly on various products, including pumps and valves such as cartridge, in-line, and check valves.
+ Work in multiple assembly areas, ranging from basic assembly to electrical assembly and more sophisticated assembly operations.
+ Follow drawings and diagrams (non-blueprint format) to correctly assemble parts and components.
+ Handle and assemble small parts and metal pieces with precision and attention to detail.
+ Operate lapping machines to smooth product surfaces to specified tolerances and quality standards.
+ Perform order picking in the Conveyance department by pushing carts and selecting parts for delivery to assembly areas.
+ Support warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving tasks, as needed.
+ Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during assembly and related operations.
+ Conduct quality checks on products, including first piece, in-process, and final assembly inspections and testing.
+ Lift and move materials and components weighing up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
