1st Shift Picker/Packer
Pro Resources has partnered with a precision sheet metal and fabrication company in Huntington that specializes in CNC stamping and machining, robotic welding, tube bending, and full-service standard and/or specialty coatings capabilities. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to support daily shipping and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for inspecting powder-coated parts, picking orders, packing, labeling, and ensuring parts are shipped accurately and on time.
Hours:
7:00am - 3:30pm M-F
Pay:
$16 per hour
Job Duties
- Inspect parts coming off the powder coat line for quality and consistency
- Pick orders accurately according to work orders/pick lists
- Pack parts securely to prevent damage during transit
- Label parts and packages correctly for shipment
- Verify shipments are complete and accurate before they go out
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, picking/packing, or shipping experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail, especially when inspecting parts for quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must be dependable with a consistent attendance record
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a safe, clean work environment
- Steel toes required; HSD/GED preferred but not required
