As a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing maintenance of our production areas, performing various maintenance tasks in a safe, efficient, and quality manner. You will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

What You'll Do:<\/b>
<\/p>- Maintain and repair various company equipment using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
<\/li> - Perform mechanical preventative maintenance (PMs) independently.
<\/li> - Repair and replace pneumatic and hydraulic components (fittings, hoses, valves, etc.).
<\/li> - Maintain and repair PVC coolant plumbing and components.
<\/li> - Operate manual drill presses, lathes, and mills for machinery repairs.
<\/li> - Perform light welding repairs and fabrication.
<\/li> - Collaborate with other mechanics on complex repairs.
<\/li> - Maintain and expand your personal tool collection.
<\/li> - Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
<\/li> - Maintain excellent attendance.
<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/span>
Requirements<\/h3>
What We Need From You:<\/b>
<\/p>- High school diploma or GED preferred.
<\/li> - Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting (foundry experience a plus).
<\/li> - Electro -mechanical experience.
<\/li> - Working knowledge of AC and DC circuits and systems.
<\/li> - Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and PC operation.
<\/li> - Knowledge of electrical codes, basic hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus.
<\/li> - Knowledge of control devices, high voltage maintenance, and troubleshooting is a plus.
<\/li> - Ability to pass a pre -employment physical, drug screen, background check, and respirator fit test.
<\/li> - Ability to stand, bend, twist, kneel, walk for 10+ hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a hot environment.
