About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our fast-paced production team on 1st shift. This role involves operating manufacturing equipment, supporting quality standards, and assisting with various production tasks to ensure high-quality output and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Read and interpret instructions, labels, and production documentation accurately.
- Assist with packaging and labeling products to meet production standards.
- Follow safety protocols, including lifting up to 20 pounds regularly and reaching overhead as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations to support efficient production flow.
- Support department rotation and adapt to various tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure quality and productivity targets are met.
- Follow instructions with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Assist with minor troubleshooting of equipment as necessary.
- Support quality control processes to ensure product standards.
- Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks as part of daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- 6 to 12 months of production experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Familiarity with assembly line operations.
- Experience in packaging and labeling.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Capacity to lift 20 pounds regularly.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Knowledge of GMP and SOPs.
- Willingness to rotate within departments and work overtime when required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual skills in reading and writing.
- Previous experience operating machinery.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for minor equipment issues.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Reaching overhead and lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment adhering to safety standards.
- Capable of working flexible schedules and rotating tasks.
