1st Shift Machine Operator

Position Overview

The Thermoforming Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating production machines to ensure efficient, high-quality output. You'll oversee changeovers, monitor machinery, and contribute to daily production goals in a clean, organized environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up production lines, including molds, fixtures, and equipment
• Perform changeovers: uninstall and reinstall necessary tools for new jobs
• Monitor and document machine running conditions and performance
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor
• Perform daily wipe-downs of production traffic areas
• Communicate with the Team Leader regarding quality assurance issues
• Prepare and wrap finished skids for shipment
• Ensure raw materials, finished goods, and scrap are managed properly
• Support weekly preventive maintenance activities
• Assist with tasks outlined in the daily production schedule
