1st Shift Inspector

Nesco Resource is currently seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals for a 1st Shift Quality Inspector position in the Laurens, SC area!

This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates with previous manufacturing, quality inspection, or production experience who are looking for long-term employment.

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting manufactured components to ensure they meet established quality, safety, and production standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to identify product defects, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured components to ensure products meet quality specifications.

• Inspect parts for defects, damage, and inconsistencies throughout the production process.

• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges when required.

• Identify, separate, and report defective or nonconforming products.

• Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality control records.

• Follow work instructions, product specifications, and established inspection procedures.

• Communicate quality concerns and production issues to supervisors.

• Assist with sorting, checking, and organizing finished products.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.

• Support additional manufacturing and production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and product specifications.

• Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges is a plus.

• Ability to accurately complete inspection reports and quality documentation.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $12.50 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 4:30 AM – 2:00 PM
