Job Title: 1st Shift Hand Packaging Operator
Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

As a Hand Packaging Operator, you'll be responsible for ensuring that finished products are packaged, labeled, and inspected to meet high-quality standards. You’ll work closely with the manufacturing team to maintain product integrity and support cleanroom compliance.

What You'll Do
As a packaging and inspection pro, you will be responsible for

• Performing hand packaging and labeling of finished products according to established specifications.
• Conducting detailed visual inspections of labels, packaging, and finished goods to identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Performing packaging-line activities including assembly, disassembly, preparation, and basic adjustments of packaging equipment.
• Manually labeling and packaging finished goods when automated equipment is unavailable.
• Following proper cleanroom gowning procedures when entering and exiting designated areas.
• Accurately completing and maintaining batch records, forms, logbooks, and other production documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
• Properly labeling and disposing of hazardous waste from the packaging floor.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, including packaging equipment, inspection machines, and tools.
• Assisting other manufacturing team members as needed.
• Following all applicable SOPs, GMP, ISO, safety, and quality requirements.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cleanroom experience is REQUIRED.
• Hands-on experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with hand packaging, labeling, visual inspection, or regulated manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product or packaging defects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Good manual dexterity and initiative.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand continuously for two or more hours.
• Ability to work safely and properly use material-moving equipment as required.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
