1st Shift Forklift Driver
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; overtime as needed)
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused 1st Shift Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment and be committed to maintaining productivity, accuracy, and workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or electric pallet jack forklifts as assigned.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while ensuring product accuracy and minimizing damage.
- Move, stack, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pick, stage, and transport products to designated locations.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Accurately complete inventory transactions using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent forklift operating experience preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
