Armada Staffing Group is currently seeking a dependable and motivated 1st Shift Forklift Operator to join our team in South, Columbus, OH.The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack,
and count materials within the warehouse or production facility. This role supports daily operations by ensuring product
is handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with safety standards.
Pay Rate: $16/HR
Shift/Hours: 7:00AM-3:00PM
Requirements:
- Previous forklift operating experience and propane forklifts
- Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack) to move materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and pallets to designated locations
- Perform accurate product placement and inventory movements
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Follow all OSHA, company safety, and operational procedures
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support other warehouse duties as assigned
