Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair International medium- and heavy-duty trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and DOT services.
• Repair diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting equipment.
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately document repairs, inspections, and labor performed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with service advisors and teammates to ensure timely, high-quality repairs.
• Stay current with International and OEM training programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of diesel technician experience preferred.
• Experience working on International, Cummins, PACCAR, Detroit, or other heavy-duty diesel engines is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
• ASE and/or OEM certifications are preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop environment.
