• Summary:
  • Operate a Brausse Die Cutter and 2-color Heidelberg Speedmaster press.
  • Set up and operate equipment according to job orders, production specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Perform die cutting, scoring, and perforating on previously printed sheets.
  • Maintain production speeds while ensuring finished products meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, machine cleanup, and assist with minimizing equipment downtime.

• Responsibilities:
  • Review daily work assignments and prioritize jobs according to the production schedule.
  • Set up equipment based on individual job orders and specifications.
  • Operate production machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining consistent workflow.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Communicate production schedules, expectations, and equipment concerns with team members and management.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
  • Assist other production departments as needed.

• Requirements:
  • Previous machine operation, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
  • Ability to read and use measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read and follow job orders, instructions, and production specifications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Dependable, hardworking, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Printing or commercial print production experience, Brausse die cutter experience, or Heidelberg Speedmaster experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
