1st Shift Cherry Picker / Order Picker Operator
Bedford, OH

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Cherry Picker / Order Picker Operator to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. This role involves operating equipment at elevated rack locations, picking orders accurately, moving inventory, and assisting with shipping and receiving tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a cherry picker/order picker to pull inventory from elevated rack locations

  • Use RF scanners to accurately locate, pick, verify, and replenish products

  • Load, unload, move, and stage materials for shipping and receiving

  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns

  • Assist with inventory movement, product organization, and general warehouse tasks

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards

Qualifications

  • Previous cherry picker or order picker operating experience required

  • At least 1 year of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or material handling experience preferred

  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems preferred

  • Ability to work at heights and operate powered industrial equipment safely

  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift

  • Cherry picker certification preferred; training may be available for qualified candidates

  • Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to safety
