Cherry Picker Operator

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift: 04:00 AM - 12:45 PM, plus overtime when needed

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Operator to join our warehouse team. This position involves operating an order picker forklift to accurately pick, move, and stage products for shipment in a fast-paced environment. Success requires experience with cherry picker or order picker forklifts, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work at heights up to 30 feet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cherry picker forklift to retrieve items from elevated storage racks
• Accurately pick and pack customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners
• Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment
• Follow all warehouse safety guidelines, including PPE use and equipment inspections
• Report damaged products or discrepancies to supervisors
• Perform general warehouse tasks such as labeling, staging, and organizing products
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
• Work at heights up to 20-30 feet and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Use warehouse equipment such as RF scanners and safety PPE
• Follow safety protocols and report safety concerns or hazards

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a cherry picker or order picker forklift
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Basic reading and math skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certification

• Cherry picker forklift
• RF scanners
• Warehouse safety equipment (PPE)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and work at heights in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures
• Commitment to safety guidelines and PPE use
