Pro Resources is hiring for a facility that is part of a leading global green energy company producing secondary battery parts through active research and development investment in cylindrical cap assemblies, a safety device for electric vehicle batteries. This 150,000 square foot temperature-controlled facility in Roanoke, Indiana is the first in the United States and offers competitive pay, benefits, and a working environment that is employee-focused. We are seeking entry-level as well as experienced individuals to join the team.
Hours: 6am-2:30pm plus two hours of OT
Pay: $18.00hr
The Production Operator Will
- Operate and maintain machines in a manufacturing environment
- Ensure machine operation for maximum production runs, including some programming and adjusting settings to ensure quality and output are achieved
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform troubleshooting on machines with guidance from Supervisor, Quality, and Engineering
- Oversee other team members on the production line and assist where needed to ensure operation and output are maximized
- Use associated controls, devices, and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Knowledge
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Multitasking ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills/Knowledge Preferred
- Experience operating machines
- Strong machine, production, and manufacturing aptitude
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles
- Familiarity with manufacturing environment processes and procedures
- Prior logistics, shipping/receiving experience
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to read and understand English
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 45 lbs. routinely during shift
- Standing for prolonged periods of time
- Moving frequently in and around the warehouse and production facility
Essential Functions
Able to stand and move frequently in and around the warehouse and production facility for extended periods, and lift up to 45 lbs. on a routine basis for a minimum 8-hour shift.
