1st or 2nd shift Machine Operator/Fabricators

ABR is seeking 1^st shift or 2^nd shift or weekend shift Fabrication/Machine Operators for a manufacturing company in Mosinee.  Come join be part of an exciting new chapter! Starting wage is $20.00 – 21.50 per hour, plus up to THREE potential increases in the first year based on performance.

Shifts Available:
1st Shift: 5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., M-TH, with occasional OT on Friday 5:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
2nd Shift: 3:15 p.m. - 1:15 a.m., M-TH; occasional OT Fridays 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Weekend Shift: 6:00am-6:00pm, Friday - Sunday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment including according to production requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications

Requirements:

• Experience working in a production or fabrication environment is preferred
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills as well as the ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Ability to assemble and fabricate components
• Understanding of tooling and tooling requirements for different machining operations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Reliability and proven attendance at past jobs

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, talk, or hear.

• Ability to lift 10lbs on a consistent basis
• Ability to lift 10-25lbs on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift 25-50lbs on an occasional basis
• Ability to stand for 10 hours per day
• Must be able to work overhead on a frequent basis
• Must be able to work shoulder level on a seldom to frequent basis
• Must be able to have a complete range of movement of the arms and wrist
• Hand dexterity and hand grip
• Ability to complete repetitive functions on a rotational basis
