The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the month-end close process. They will help to make sure the accounting team is completing all necessary journal entries and all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating, producing, and submitting monthly P&Lxe2x80x99s and Cashflow/Balance sheets. nt
• Key role in ensuring P&L is robust and all accruals/prepayments made where necessary. nt
• Key role to understand all variances across all P&L lines. Communication and building relationships with key stakeholders are essential. nt
• Responsible for presenting the monthly financials to the Director of Accounting, Controller and CFO. nt
• Key role in helping to coordinate half-year and year-end requirements. nt
• Responsible for ensuring accounting team meet all deadlines. nt
• Responsible for coordinating and producing monthly balance sheet review. Key role in ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations is robust and completed to a satisfactory standard. nt
• Month End Financial Reporting for Group nt

• Cash Flow Forecasting (working with Treasury & FP&A) nt
• P&L Analytics to ensure accuracy at Month-End before close n

• Helping to drive more accurate recording at store level (JV) nt
• Technical Guidance to Advise the Business on treatment of things as they arise nt
• Assisting with JV Accounting nt
• Overseeing Sr. Accountant and Payrollnt

• Helping to build reporting ntt
• Helping to fix the GL mapping nt

• Identify and engage in various process improvement projects to drive efficiency. nt
• Other tasks and projects as deemed necessary. n

• Bachelors in Accounting or related field nt
• 4+ years of experience in accounting nt
• 1+ years supervisory experience preferred nt
• CPA preferred but not mandatory nt
• Experience with Great Plains and Aptos is a plus nt
• Experience Microsoft Dynamics General Ledger is a plus nt
• Excellent communication and people skills nt
• Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach nt
• Retail experience helpful but not required nt
• Proven communication skills nt
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve nt
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel. Power Point, Publisher). nt
• Reliable transportation required nt
