    Job Summary

    Japanese Manufacture company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

    Accounting Assistant to support their finance team in maintaining

    accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting

    operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational

    skills, a knack for numbers, and a commitment to confidentiality and

    accuracy.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes

    * Reconcile bank statements and financial records

    * Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements

    * Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits and compliance

    * Support month-end and year-end closing procedures

    * Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing and payments

    * Enter financial transactions into accounting software and databases

    * Assist in preparing budgets and financial reports

    * Perform general administrative duties related to finance operations

    Qualifications

    * Associates degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    * 12 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred

    * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)

    * Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    * Excellent organizational and time management skills

    * Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion

    * Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

    Preferred Skills

    * Familiarity with GAAP principles

    * Experience with ERP systems

    * Basic understanding of tax regulations and compliance

    Speak/write/read Japanese is a plus but not required.
